Monitored Protection

For customers requiring a higher level of response, systems can be connected to a 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

Depending on the system and requirements, an activation can lead to keyholder notification, alarm verification and police response where applicable, rather than relying solely on an audible alarm or app notification.

As an NSI Gold approved company, we design, install and maintain intruder alarm systems to the relevant industry standards and police-response requirements.

CCTV Systems

More Than Just Recording

CCTV has developed far beyond simply recording footage for review after an incident. Modern systems can detect events in real time, intelligently search recorded footage, analyse activity and trigger a response.

We provide everything from straightforward surveillance and recording through to 4K IP CCTV, multi-site systems, control rooms and intelligent video solutions.

Whether it's a new system, an upgrade or an existing installation requiring maintenance, we provide the design, installation and ongoing support needed throughout its life.

Designed Around What You Need to See

Effective CCTV starts with good design.

Our trained designers carry out a site survey and risk assessment to understand what needs protecting and what the system needs to achieve.

From there, we select the right camera type, lens, resolution and position, taking into account fields of view, identification requirements, lighting, glare, mounting heights, blind spots, vegetation, distances and the surrounding environment.

The result is useful coverage and the right level of detail where it's actually needed.

CCTV That Works for You

Modern CCTV can do considerably more than provide an image.

  • Intelligent Detection — distinguish people, vehicles and other activity and identify events as they happen.
  • Smart Search — quickly search footage using details such as clothing, vehicle type, make or colour.
  • Advanced Analytics — facial recognition, people counting, occupancy management and other intelligent applications.
  • Cause & Effect — use CCTV events to trigger lighting, audio warnings or other connected systems.
  • Active Deterrence — flashing warning lights, speakers and audio tannoy can be used to challenge intruders.
  • PTZ & Long-Range Surveillance — wide-area coverage and powerful optical zoom, with specialist solutions capable of identifying facial detail beyond 300 metres, where conditions and system design allow.

From a Single Camera to a Complete Control Room

We work with CCTV systems of all sizes, from older analogue installations through to complex IP systems spanning multiple buildings and sites.

Solutions can include centralised video management, remote viewing, operator workstations, large displays and complete video wall and control-room setups.

We can also take over, fault-find, maintain, expand and upgrade existing CCTV systems, making use of existing equipment and infrastructure where practical.

Detect. Verify. Respond.

For sites requiring an active response, CCTV can be connected to 24/7 remote monitoring, allowing an operator to visually verify an event and follow the agreed response, including audio challenge, keyholder notification or police response where applicable.

For higher-risk sites requiring earlier detection across boundaries and wider external areas, CCTV can also form a key part of our Perimeter Protection solutions.

Perimeter Protection

Detect Earlier. Respond Faster.

Perimeter protection is about detecting a potential intrusion before somebody reaches the building.

We design systems to protect fence lines, entrances, yards, car parks and approaches, creating additional layers of security around the site using the detection best suited to the property and risk.

This can range from high-end residential security and commercial premises through to warehouses, dealership forecourts, data centres, industrial sites and large facilities with kilometres of exposed perimeter.

Protection Starts at the Perimeter

When it comes to an attempted intrusion, time matters.

Detecting activity earlier gives more opportunity to establish what's happening, deter the intruder and put the agreed response into action.

There's no standard package. We look at the site, boundary, vulnerable areas, environment and how the property operates, then build the protection around it.

Depending on the site, this can include:

  • Fibre-Optic Fence Detection — ideal for extensive fence lines, detecting climbing, cutting or interference and pinpointing where along the perimeter the activity has occurred. A single system can protect kilometres of fencing.
  • External Detection & Beams — invisible detection across boundaries, approaches, yards and known routes into a property.
  • CCTV Analytics — intelligent detection of people and vehicles across open areas, with the added benefit of immediate visual verification.
  • Thermal Detection — particularly effective across large, exposed or high-risk areas, detecting the heat signature of people and vehicles even in challenging conditions.

Different technologies can be used individually or together depending on what the site actually needs.

Designed Around the Site

A perimeter system still needs to work around everyday activity.

Staff, vehicles, visitors and deliveries may regularly move through protected areas, so we can integrate detection with access control, gates, barriers and CCTV, with different areas armed or disarmed around how the site operates.

This allows high levels of protection without making the system difficult to live with day to day.

From Detection to Response

Where remote monitoring is required, the different layers can work together to provide a much faster response to activity around the site.

01 — DETECT
A fence is cut or climbed, a beam is crossed, an external detector activates or CCTV/thermal analytics identify activity.

02 — VERIFY
The event is sent to a 24/7 monitoring centre, where an operator can view the associated CCTV and establish what's happening.

03 — DETER
A live audio warning can be issued through on-site tannoy speakers, with floodlighting, sirens and strobes also used where required. Higher-risk sites can incorporate high-output motor-driven sirens for an additional audible deterrent.

04 — RESPOND
The agreed response can include keyholder notification, rapid security response or police response where applicable.

The aim is to detect and deal with activity while it's still outside, with the building's CCTV, intruder alarm and other security remaining further layers of protection.

New & Existing Perimeter Systems

We design, install and maintain perimeter protection systems, as well as taking over and improving existing installations.

As sites change, perimeter security sometimes needs to change with them. During maintenance and system reviews, we can take into account things such as growing vegetation, new buildings, additional gates, changing access routes or areas being used differently and advise where these affect the protection in place.
