Security Designed Around the Risk
Intruder Alarm Systems
A good intruder alarm starts with understanding the property, not simply choosing a panel and adding detectors.
Our experienced surveyors look at how the property is used, vulnerable areas, likely points of entry and the level of risk before designing the system and selecting the right detection.
Just as importantly, we consider the people using it. The system should fit naturally around day-to-day life or business operations, while providing the required level of protection and taking into account any relevant insurer requirements.

The Right Detection. In the Right Place.
Different areas require different types of protection. Depending on the property and risk, a system can combine:
- Door & window protection — contacts, shock sensors and glass-break detection
- Internal detection — movement and dual-technology detectors
- External detection — beams and external detectors for earlier warning around vulnerable areas
- Panic & hold-up alarms — fixed or wireless devices for immediately raising an alarm
- Active deterrents — high-output sounders, motor-driven sirens and security fogging
For larger properties, multi-area systems allow separate buildings, departments or areas to be independently armed and controlled without affecting the rest of the site.
Simple to Use
Security shouldn't become a daily inconvenience.
Modern systems can provide app control, remote setting and unsetting, instant notifications and live system status, giving customers control whether they're on site or away.
Permissions can also be set around different users and areas, making the same system practical for everything from a home to a larger commercial or industrial site.
More Than a Standalone Alarm
Where required, the intruder alarm can work alongside CCTV, access control and other security systems.
An alarm event could, for example, bring associated CCTV footage to an operator, activate additional warning devices or form part of a wider security response.
For sites requiring protection beyond the building itself, external detection can be developed further as part of our Perimeter Protection systems.
Monitored Protection
For customers requiring a higher level of response, systems can be connected to a 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
Depending on the system and requirements, an activation can lead to keyholder notification, alarm verification and police response where applicable, rather than relying solely on an audible alarm or app notification.
As an NSI Gold approved company, we design, install and maintain intruder alarm systems to the relevant industry standards and police-response requirements.
